About the role
- Reports to: Director of Finance Works with: Finance, Customer Success, IT, People Ops This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the process of completing their accounting designation.
- As a member of a the Finance team you will wear many hats and a few cool company sweatshirts as well.
Responsibilities
- Own the full Accounts Payable cycle
- Maintain purchasing system and approval process
- Maintain financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with government requirements
Skills
- In the process of completing your accounting designation
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- You like numbers…really like numbers
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Detail is your middle name
- Ability to work independently in a cross functional team
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and provide recommendations
