About the role
- The Quality Control & Continuous Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring product and process quality at Inotiv's operational sites.
- This position fosters a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, while contributing to cross-functional collaboration and the overall success of Inotiv's QC and CI programs.
- The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
Responsibilities
- Perform scientific analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Document, interpret, and analyze QC data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Use Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, process mapping, and other continuous improvement tools to optimize workflows, prevent defects, and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement novel systems or tools to enhance quality and process reliability.
- Operational Support & Collaboration
- Support other operational functions as trained and qualified.
- Maintain accurate QC records, SOPs, work instructions, quality records, and other documentation in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
- Continuous Improvement & Team Support
- Help drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by leading by example.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support QC and CI objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of NC/RCI/CAPA processes, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

- The salary for this position starts at $55,000.
- This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
