About the role
- Loopio is seeking a talented Strategic Finance Associate to join our Finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success.
- You will have the opportunity to analyze financial data, provide actionable insights, and contribute to critical financial decisions.
- This role reports to the Strategic Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of the company's strategic plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including gathering input from various departments, creating and updating financial models, and tracking performance against budget.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to drive informed decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to Leadership, alongside the broader Strategic Finance team.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports and presentations to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Develop and design new internal and external reporting packages and dashboards.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with relevant teams to implement efficiency measures without compromising key objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop conclusions and explain key takeaways and recommendations.
- You'll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we're just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work 🙇🏾 during the workday

Requirements
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- 3+ years of experience in a combination of Audit at a Big 4 firm, FP&A, or Accounting.
- Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Finance systems (Netsuite, Cube, etc.) considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently interact with an executive level audience.
- Great time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA or Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting strongly preferred.
