About the role
- The Production Planner III is responsible for creating and maintaining efficient production schedules, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to meet production goals and deadlines.
- This role involves supporting Lean Manufacturing practices, implementing demand scheduling tools, and utilizing advanced skills in ERP, MRP, MS Project, Excel, and SQL.
- The Production Planner III also ensures that production processes are optimized and aligned with industry standards, particularly in aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will create and maintain efficient production schedules to meet production goals and deadlines, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to support these schedules.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment of production schedules with business objectives and maintain accurate records of production schedules, material requirements, and resource allocation.
- We deliver mission-proven technologies to our customers that safeguard our nation, protect space-based assets and enable space exploration.
Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
- Typically 5+ years of related experience.
- Extensive experience with production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace or Automotive.
- Proven track record of optimizing production processes and improving efficiency.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.

- Certification: APICS.
- Experience using Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.
Compensation
- $89,411.00 - $122,939.75
- Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
