About the role
- The role includes responsibility for structuring activity, including designing, structuring and supporting the implementation of complex financial products, transactions and client solutions tailored to the needs of VFX, its clients and the wider Group.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial development, sales strategy and client acquisition activity for the Malta business.
- Identify, develop and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
- Drive revenue growth in line with the Company's strategy, risk appetite and regulatory permissions.
- Design, structure and support the implementation of complex financial products, transactions and client solutions tailored to client and business needs.
- Develop customised solutions involving financial, legal and regulatory considerations.
- Coordinate client onboarding and support high standards of client satisfaction by working closely with compliance, risk, operations and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market opportunities and develop the Malta commercial pipeline.
- Ability to develop customised solutions involving financial, legal and regulatory considerations.
Skills
- Experience in sales, business development, relationship management, structuring or commercial roles within financial services.
- Strong understanding of FX, treasury, payments, structured products, derivatives or related financial products.
- Experience designing, structuring or supporting the implementation of complex financial products, transactions or client solutions.
- Experience working with corporate, institutional or sophisticated clients.
- Ability to identify financial risks and opportunities in client proposals or transactions.
- Strong technical skills, industry knowledge and commercial judgement.
- Ability to work closely with legal, compliance, risk, operations, trading and senior management.
