About the role

  • The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nephrologist to serve as a Fee Basis.
  • The Nephrologist shall provide comprehensive nephrology care, including outpatient and inpatient services.
  • The fee basis is not to exceed the fiscal year, but can be extended as needed, based on the service's needs.

Requirements

  • The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
  • PRPs must be fully licensed physicians (i.e., not a training license) and may only be appointed on an intermittent basis.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Additional Requirement: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in nephrology practices and procedures.
  • Ability to distinguish basic colors

Compensation

  • $15k-$25k
