Responsibilities

  • SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Connections Coordinator is to recruit, schedule, and help develop servant leaders and provide the necessary structures for the Connections Ministry.
  • This role models Pinelake's culture by training servant leaders to create environments that welcome and engage all who come to Pinelake Church.
  • Lead Take ownership of disciple-making by personally investing in others and helping them move toward a Jesus-Centered Life.
  • Equip and release others by developing Servant Leaders and multiplying disciples who Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

  • SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruit, schedule, and help develop servant leaders in order to provide the necessary systems and structures for the Ushers, Greeters, and Parking Teams (Inside and Outside Connections Teams).
  • Build servant leader teams that support PL College, Sunday morning, and Student Ministry environments.
  • Utilize Rock to schedule servant leaders for weekly worship gatherings.
  • Assist ministers in the successful completion of regular worship events and ministry expressions as requested and aligned with work schedule.
  • Perform administrative duties and assimilate reports as requested by campus leadership.
  • Guide and assist individuals desiring to take next steps during worship gathering response times.
  • Help identify, engage, and recruit PL College leaders to move towards the Pinelake School of Ministry's Summer Internship and Ministry Residency programs.
  • Develop as Christ-follower, leader, and minister under the mentorship of the Connections and Groups Team.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Pinelake Church.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Works with servant leaders.
  • QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree preferred.
  • One to three years of servant leadership or other related experience.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS The individual must be able to understand written or oral instructions; read, analyze and interpret documents, instructions manuals, and policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, email and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of PC systems to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets and the ability to use the World Wide Web for information retrieval.
  • The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring.
  • The individual must have the ability to read financial information and spreadsheets.
  • REASONING ABILITY The ability to simultaneously conceptualize and plan multiple tasks; project outcomes using different implementation strategies; and apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations is required.
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.
