- Duties will include preparation of reports and other pertinent field data as well as maintenance of field and laboratory data files.
Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
- Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
Requirements
- Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of standard test methods, and experience performing construction related soils and concrete tests typically performed by a field technician.
Compensation
- $20-26/hour base salary; some projects pay prevailing wage but not guaranteed
