About the role

  • As the manager of Multi and Single-Family Sales at Gas South, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue in the multi-family and single-family markets.
  • You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing sales processes and controls and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales and channel representatives, fostering development and accountability.
  • Develop training programs and sales methodologies to continuously improve the team's effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi and Single-family sales strategy aligned with Gas South's overall goals.
  • Apply strong critical thinking to prioritize opportunities, refine targeting, and create tactical action plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, associations, property management companies, property owners, and key broker and consultant partners, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Ability to drive to the office 2-3 days per week and to offsite meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
  • Requires visual and auditory acuity for effective communication, document review, performance management, and use of office technology.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard and mouse, requiring finger dexterity and hand coordination.
  • Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues, or visiting different departments.
  • Ability to stand during receptions.

  • Keyboarding: Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard and mouse, requiring finger dexterity and hand coordination.

  • Ability to reach for items stored in cabinets or shelves, both above and below shoulder height.
  • Some evening and weekend work required for external events.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years sales management experience preferred, preferably within a related industry.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events, trade shows, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Experience directly managing outside sales representatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Additional Responsibilities

Compensation

  • Travel to other out-of-state offices (GA or FL) 1-4 times per year.
  • Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.
  • Annual employer contributions of up to 12.5% to your 401k
  • Annual performance incentive is a % of annual benchmark based on position level
