About the role
- Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking someone to run our Minerals group across the Midland and Delaware Basins.
- This role will oversee our minerals and royalty portfolio, evaluate acquisition and development activity, monitor operator activity, and identify opportunities to maximize portfolio value.
- We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, analytical, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of a diverse portfolio and a high volume of opportunities and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain visibility into operator development plans, permitting, drilling activity, production, and other activity impacting the portfolio.
- Support valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning related to the minerals business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of upstream oil and gas experience.
- Strong understanding of upstream economics, mineral and royalty interests, and investment decisions.
- Familiarity with mineral ownership, title, leasing, and oil and gas development.
- Strong commercial, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
