About the role
- Job Details The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University seeks a Vice Chair for Quality and Safety.
- The Vice Chair will provide strategic leadership for departmental quality improvement, patient safety, clinical performance, and regulatory readiness while maintaining an active faculty appointment and clinical practice.
- This role includes a system-level leadership responsibility with oversight of the Women's Health Service Line Quality and Safety Committee.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the department's quality and patient safety strategy.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives across obstetrics, gynecology, and subspecialty clinical programs.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
Nice to have
- Academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level, or qualifications sufficient for appointment at that rank.
- Experience preparing dashboards, performance reports, quality scorecards, or committee reports.
