Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier and co-manufacturer quality and animal safety programs to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support supplier qualification, onboarding, risk assessments, and product safety evaluations related to external manufacturing.
  • Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier and co-manufacturing issues.
  • Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier and co-manufacturing network.
  • Maintain supplier quality documentation, support audit readiness, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • A collaborative role working closely with internal teams and external partners to solve complex quality and compliance challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Quality, Biology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, animal safety, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Experience managing supplier or co-manufacturing quality activities, including audits, assessments, and performance monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit practices, and CAPA processes.
  • Ability to work in office, manufacturing, laboratory, or production environments and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
