About the role
- We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Marine Construction Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville.
Responsibilities
- Perform work from barges, boats, scaffolding, or directly in the water as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, preferably in marine or heavy civil construction.
- Ability to swim and work comfortably around water.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with marine construction materials and fasteners.
- Must be able to obtain TWIC badge and Port badges to access Port Facilities
- The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, a solid understanding of marine construction techniques, and the ability to work outdoors in physically demanding environments.
Nice to have
- Experience working from barges or in/around tide-affected environments.
- Ability to operate small boats or barges.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
