About the role

  • In this role, you'll work on full-stack development projects that sit on top of our next-generation data platform.
  • This posting is for an existing vacancy at Forum.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools used across the business
  • Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems
  • Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets
  • Forum Asset Management is looking for Software Developer Interns to help build data-driven applications that power decision-making across Forum's investment and real estate platforms.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience with full-stack frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Interest in data-driven applications or analytics tools

Compensation
