About the role
- The Locums Physician Recruiter is a sales-driven recruiting professional responsible for sourcing, closing, and placing physicians into temporary locum tenens assignments nationwide.
- This role operates in a high-volume agency environment and is ideal for individuals who thrive in performance-based, KPI-driven roles with clear expectations tied to activity, placements, and revenue impact.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle locums recruiting with a sales execution mindset, from outbound sourcing through placement
- Build and maintain a strong physician pipeline to support repeat placements and long-term revenue generation
- Partner closely with account managers, credentialing, licensing, and travel teams to ensure fast, efficient placements
- Ability to manage a full desk with multiple active physicians and assignments
- High-energy, performance-oriented culture with strong operational support

Requirements
- 2+ years of agency recruiting or sales experience
- Strong closing skills with the ability to influence physician decision-making
- Experience managing high-volume requisitions and competing priorities
- Comfort with outbound calling and consultative selling
- Working knowledge of locum tenens workflows, credentialing timelines, and compliance requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success in quota-based or performance-driven roles
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills

- Competitive base salary plus commission or incentive structure
