Under the supervision of a Team Lead, this position is responsible for the Operation, Performance, Food Safety, and Safety of the Pack Floor.

Packaging Operators are required to carry a radio and respond to issues pertaining to their designated area(s).
They will be required to work Cleanups.
Packaging Operators are required to go up and down stairs and be on their feet for most of the day.
They will be required to enter data into the LEDs computer system.
They will be required to attend designated meetings regarding top losses and actions involved.
They will be required to strip out bags and keep their area(s) clean.
Successful operators must be able to troubleshoot issues and solve them on their own.
They must be able to effectively communicate with other Team Members in their areas.

Responsible for performing all necessary duties for a successful Cut Change.
Must understand how Frozen Grading works.
Responsible for adjusting equipment for optimum performance.
Responsible for swapping equipment Change Parts throughout the line.
Responsible for changing primary container mediums (poly, clear tite, etc.) as needed.
Responsible for making sure that the correct product weight is being bagged.
Responsible for checking the Bag/Case Code.
Responsible for ensuring that primary and secondary containers are Food Safe.

Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be able to go up and down stairs throughout the Shift.
Must be able to be on feet all day (60/40 walking/standing)
Must have a basic Mechanical and Computer aptitude.
Understand basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds.

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise.
A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is listed below.
Pay Rate or Range: $24.85
