This position is 100% on-site and may be filled as either a Principal Production Planner & Scheduler (level 3) or a Senior Principal Production Planner & Scheduler (level 4).

are expected to be performed at an advanced level, demonstrating expert knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to independently lead complex planning activities.
Supports continuous improvement activities within the department or that is impactful to the department.
Supports SAP ERP System Implementation.
Performs work order variance analysis and review MRP execution and ensures accuracy of information, reconciles supply and demand, validates master scheduling requirement.
Performs risk analysis, identifying and resolving critical path and MRP logic conflicts.
Creates and release manufacturing work orders based on bill-of-materials and configuration. Close sub-assemblies work orders, ensures assemblies and integration are complete.
Maintains inventory including shelf-life sensitive material and tooling for the program.
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments, according to manufacturing schedules or priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized record.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a production control and manufacturing environment utilizing an MRP system

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

$85,600.00 - $128,400.00
$106,800.00 - $160,200.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
