About the role
- Experience implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients, digital leaders, solution architects, and technical and functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams and market segments to support client engagements, growth initiatives, and capability development.
- Serve as a key member of the modernization team, helping address technical challenges, deliver demonstrations, and build innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures and modern software technologies.
- Provide hands-on full-stack engineering for scalable, secure, distributed systems using modern programming languages, cloud-native and microservices architectures, containerization, and API-first design patterns.
- Work collaboratively with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design, build, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on AWS that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proven ability to develop software products and solution prototypes, using prototypes to validate technical strategies and clearly communicate the trade-offs of complex design alternatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing cloud applications to build and modernize applications and datasets on AWS.
- Required technical skills include proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
- What You Will Need: Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in full-stack application development.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with, mentoring, and supporting team members to solve complex technical problems.
Nice to have
- AWS Certified Developer certification.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and engineer effective solutions.
