About the role

  • Coordinate cart collection and movement of materials throughout the production floor.
  • Stock point-of-use inventory and production supplies as needed.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

  • This position assists production teams by supplying materials, maintaining clean and safe work areas, coordinating carts and equipment, and completing various operational support tasks assigned by the Production Manager.
  • Pick and deliver materials to production cut cells to support daily manufacturing schedules.
  • Empty wood scrap bins and maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
  • Assist production employees with material handling and operational support activities.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain workflow and operational efficiency.
  • A successful Production Support Associate keeps production teams supplied, workstations organized, and production areas clean and safe, helping ensure efficient operations and on-time production performance.
  • Perform end-of-day cleanup activities to ensure work areas are ready for the next shift.
  • Organize and coordinate tools, equipment, and workstations to support daily production requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-40 pounds periodically throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work Overtime as needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and then work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
