About the role

  • The Patient Access and Pre-Access Supervisor oversees daily operations of the patient access/pre-access team, ensuring efficient workflows, staff performance, and adherence to revenue cycle goals.
  • Plays a key role in overseeing onboarding, training, and continuous development of staff, while driving initiatives that improve patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinates all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manages scheduling, monitors KPIs, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Provides coaching and performance feedback, resolves complex patient and operational issues, and partners with clients to optimize front-end processes.
  • Provides comprehensive support for client needs and assumes additional duties aligned with business priorities.
  • Manages assigned projects regarding implementing, tracking, and process changes. Reports to Patient Access Leadership routinely for monitoring.
  • Assists with staff evaluations. Maintains time/attendance system.
  • Assists with developing department processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • If necessary, the Supervisor may be required to fill in for call-offs, staffing issues, or unexpected volumes.
  • Attend facility meetings as required/needed by department and/or client to ensure process alignment and effective communication between clinical team and our team.

Skills

  • 2 Year/ Associate degree or 4 year/ Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business field preferred

Compensation
