Responsibilities

  • Execute sourcing and supplier selection for assigned commodities under guidance of Category Management. · Place and manage purchase orders from issuance through payment. · Obtain order confirmations and track delivery milestones. · Expedite materials as needed to prevent production disruptions. · Support negotiation of pricing, lead times, and payment terms within approved guidelines.
  • Procurement Execution · Execute sourcing and supplier selection for assigned commodities under guidance of Category Management. · Place and manage purchase orders from issuance through payment. · Obtain order confirmations and track delivery milestones. · Expedite materials as needed to prevent production disruptions. · Support negotiation of pricing, lead times, and payment terms within approved guidelines.
  • Material & Inventory Support · Maintain ERP Master Data accuracy including: · Support material availability (excluding finished goods). · Collaborate with Material Planners to manage inventory levels and mitigate supply risks. · Assist in implementing replenishment strategies such as reorder points and scheduling agreements.
  • Supplier Communication & Performance · Communicate demand forecasts to suppliers and identify potential gaps. · Track supplier shutdown schedules and capacity risks. · Support supplier performance tracking (delivery, quality, responsiveness). · Escalate supplier performance issues when necessary.
  • Material & Inventory Support ·
