About the role

  • You will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our COR-certified safety program, supporting internal audits, and driving continuous improvement across all safety processes.
  • These tools are used only to assist our recruiters and hiring managers; all hiring decisions include meaningful human involvement and final review.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain COR certification and internal audit processes
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing safety training programs
  • Conduct regular site visits and support Site Supervisors and Project Coordinators
  • Maintain safety records including inspections, hazard assessments, incidents, and training logs
  • Support the development of safety training materials and programs
  • Our organization may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) or algorithm-assisted systems, to support the initial review of applications.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting or maintaining COR certification and internal audits
  • Familiarity with IHSA standards and safety best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
  • Ability to conduct site visits and audits across active construction projects
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of provincial health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes
  • Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation and data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with site teams and leadership
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
