About the role

- You will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our COR-certified safety program, supporting internal audits, and driving continuous improvement across all safety processes.
- These tools are used only to assist our recruiters and hiring managers; all hiring decisions include meaningful human involvement and final review.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain COR certification and internal audit processes
- Coordinate and deliver ongoing safety training programs
- Conduct regular site visits and support Site Supervisors and Project Coordinators
- Maintain safety records including inspections, hazard assessments, incidents, and training logs
- Support the development of safety training materials and programs
- Our organization may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) or algorithm-assisted systems, to support the initial review of applications.

Requirements
- Experience supporting or maintaining COR certification and internal audits
- Familiarity with IHSA standards and safety best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
- Ability to conduct site visits and audits across active construction projects
- 2-5+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of provincial health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes
- Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation and data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with site teams and leadership
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
