Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Muck Rack's organic growth strategy, including SEO, GEO and website performance
  • Lead SEO & GEO including on-page optimization, technical SEO, site architecture and generative engine optimization
  • Partner closely with our content team to develop and scale high impact, search driven content
  • Own website strategy for muckrack.com, including information architecture, user journeys across the funnel, and landing pages
  • Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) through experimentation, AB testing and continuous iteration
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design to improve site performance and UX
  • Build and lead a high-performing team over time as the function scales

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in SEO, growth, or digital strategy roles, ideally in SaaS
  • Strong understanding of how websites function as growth products (UX, CRO, information architecture)
  • Experience with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing tools

Compensation

  • In the US, the base salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000, depending on skills and experience.
  • In addition, this role is eligible for an annual bonus.
  • Total compensation for this role consists of base salary, bonus, and equity.
  • We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.
  • Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
  • We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
