About the role

  • The Occupational Therapist provides school based occupational therapy services that help students access instruction, participate fully in the school environment, and make meaningful progress toward individualized goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with sensory, motor, adaptive, self regulation, and functional participation needs
  • Complete evaluations and develop educationally relevant recommendations, goals, and service plans
  • Participate in IEP and 504 meetings to share evaluation findings, student progress, and recommended supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, school leaders, related service providers, and network staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation related to services, evaluations, progress, and student records
  • Student Services and Support
  • The Occupational Therapist monitors student progress, adjusts services based on data and team input, and helps school teams implement recommendations, accommodations, modifications, and supports.

Requirements

  • While performing this role, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate with adults and children.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, handle materials, stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Position Description
  • This position reports to the Associate Director of Student Services.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $77,500 annually.
  • Final compensation is based on relevant experience and in accordance with the applicable salary schedule for related service providers.
