Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, financial risk, or related risk disciplines.
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise risk programs, analytics functions, or similar strategic risk initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong expertise in enterprise risk management frameworks, risk analytics, dashboards, key risk indicators, and executive-level reporting.
- Proven ability to conduct enterprise scenario analysis, emerging risk assessments, and forward-looking risk evaluations.
- Strong understanding of financial services risk practices, regulatory expectations, and governance requirements.
- Experience translating regulatory and legal requirements into practical processes, controls, and operational workflows.
- Ability to communicate complex risk topics clearly with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, judgment, and ability to influence across multiple functions and reporting lines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Nice to have
- advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or equivalent preferred.
- Significant experience within the mortgage, financial services, capital markets, or related regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Experience managing SOC 1 and SOC 2 reviews, committee governance, or similar oversight activities is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) are preferred but not required.
Compensation
- Competitive salary range of $236,500 to $267,750, based on qualifications, experience, skills, and internal market alignment.
