About the role
- We are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Associate to join our US Legal & Transaction Management team, supporting the execution and ongoing management of lending transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support transaction execution by preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documentation (amendment letters, waiver requests, security documents, signature pages, etc.).
- Support due diligence processes, including insurance reviews, lease assessments, zoning report reviews, and other diligence as needed.
- Review term sheets, credit papers and draft loan documents for alignment of deal terms.
- Manage deal lists while maintaining status on all outstanding diligence needed to clear a loan for closing.
- Conduct legal research, summarize findings, and support senior team members on complex matters.
- Use digital tools (including AI-enabled platforms) to streamline document review and transaction management.
- Good drafting ability and comfort reviewing complex legal and regulatory documents.

- familiarity with digital/AI tools a plus.
Compensation
- Salary - $90k - $120k based on experience
