About the role
- Smooth Commerce is looking for a Senior React Developer to join our team.
- As the Senior React Developer at Smooth Commerce, you will be responsible for the development of new features, enhancements and bug fixes for the company's web product offerings on the React framework.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for frontend development, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product & design team and other Development Teams (backend, iOS and Android)
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and responsive user interfaces.
- Implement UX designs provided by the design team using React, Redux, CSS
- Work closely with the QA team to develop automated functional tests for new features and enhancements
- Collaborate with the backend team to understand and consume platform APIs, and to suggest modifications where appropriate
Requirements
- Mid-level to Senior (minimum 7 years of experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of react patterns such as, container/presentational, hooks etc.
Nice to have
- Knowledge/experience in Formik, AWS S3, Jest, and Enzyme (or other testing frameworks) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS, AWS CLI, Firebase, and modern CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus.
Skills
- Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, and recommend best practices and tools to enhance development processes.
Compensation
- CA$85,000 to CA$115,000 annually
- Reporting Structure:
- Reports To: Software Development Manager
- Working Relationships: Collaborate closely with the Product & design team and other Development Teams (backend, iOS and Android)
