About the role
- Mix and tint paint accurately according to customer specifications.
- Provide product recommendations and basic project advice.
- Assist with receiving and putting away inventory.
Responsibilities
- Restock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays.
- As a Paint Clerk, you will work closely with the Department Head - Paint, to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Paint Department.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to mix paint accurately.
- Ability to lift and move paint containers and related materials.
- 3-5 years experience in paint design and colour choices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and comfort using computer systems.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the department.
- Leadership role in a respected local business.
- Opportunity to learn product knowledge and retail skills.
