About the role

  • Mix and tint paint accurately according to customer specifications.
  • Provide product recommendations and basic project advice.
  • Assist with receiving and putting away inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Restock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays.
  • As a Paint Clerk, you will work closely with the Department Head - Paint, to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Paint Department.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and ability to mix paint accurately.
  • Ability to lift and move paint containers and related materials.
  • 3-5 years experience in paint design and colour choices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and comfort using computer systems.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the department.
  • Leadership role in a respected local business.
  • Opportunity to learn product knowledge and retail skills.
