About the role
- This role contributes to consistent product quality by following established procedures, handling materials, and supporting routine production activities.
- The position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, organized, and compliant production operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and perform manufacturing tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Handle and move raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to support production flow.
- Monitor production processes, perform basic measurements, and collect samples to support quality requirements.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe operation.
- The Production Operator I supports manufacturing operations by operating production equipment and performing hands-on tasks to ensure efficient and safe product output.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout a shift.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment while complying with safety requirements.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working within established safety, quality, or regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with material handling processes or basic production equipment.
