About the role
- The Shared Research Program Coordinator will coordinate research projects for several interconnected research teams within the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
- This program coordinator will work directly with study team members, collaborators, stakeholders and all research participants, to ensure that all study objectives are met.
- The position requires excellent administrative, organizational, written communication and interpersonal skills, cultural humility, as well as exceptional independence in planning, organizing, and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims
- Serves as a unit liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholder groups, collaborates across disciplines and functional areas, provides program information, and promotes the accomplishments and developments of scholars and research initiatives
- Participatory research empowering primary care teams to leverage cultural humility and shared decision making to support patients and families as they navigate complex life transitions.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to consistently maintain a high level of attention to detail and demonstrate organizational skills
Requirements
- Experience coordinating complex research projects.
- Experience collaborating with study team members, collaborators, community stakeholders and research participants including Spanish-preferring populations

- Required Qualifications:
Nice to have
- Knowledge of REDCap, OnCore, and other systems related to human subject data management
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) considerations.
- Contact with efforts involving other regulatory agencies (e.g. FDA) also desirable.
- Experience with grant funding and budgets
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish at a professional level
- Experience with clinical trials
- Bachelors Degree preferred

- The starting salary for the position is $ 67,500 annually but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
