Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of QC analysts performing microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Ensure laboratory activities support manufacturing schedules, product release, and customer commitments.
- Drive accountability, performance, and professional development through coaching and mentoring.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance laboratory effectiveness, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and site stakeholders to resolve issues and support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Previous supervisory or people management experience with a proven ability to lead teams.
- Experience supporting or leading process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to have
- Environmental Monitoring experience is preferred.
- Strong Microbiology experience
