About the role

  • First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is hiring full-time Communications Center Operator in the Frisco, TX area for a 24/7 Monitoring Center supporting approximately 4,000 locations throughout the United States.

  • Communications Center Operator Alarm Systems Monitor License Required or be willing to obtain, a Texas Alarm Systems Monitor License.
  • This position is responsible for monitoring alarm activity, surveillance systems, and incoming incidents while coordinating responses with clients, emergency services, and designated personnel.
  • Work environment involves sitting across multiple computer screens displaying real time CCTV video footage from multiple sites.
  • This is an operations communications and alarm monitoring position-not a security officer or patrol position.
  • The ideal candidate Applicants must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Texas Alarm Systems Monitor License.
  • Monitor alarm systems in real time, evaluate alarm activity, and determine whether incidents are valid alarms, false alarms, or require additional investigation before taking appropriate action.
