About the role
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities
- Assist in defining critical spare parts and assure that they are available
- List the essential functions, major activities and the main areas of ongoing responsibility concerning the position.
Responsibilities
- Develop a weekly plan and define and share job priorities.
- Perform purchasing and procuring of mechanical parts and resources.

- Identify, analyze, and review equipment maintenance problems and drive sustainable solutions.
- Support the development of a plant Capital expense Revenue project.
- Support production processes as needed by the business.
Nice to have
- 5 years mechanical engineering in a heavy industrial production environment
- Direct supervision experience
- Experience working with reliability based maintenance concepts
- Maintenance planning and scheduling experience
- Experience working with industrial electrical systems
- Solid computer proficiency ( Email, Excel, Word, etc.)
Skills
- Must be able to weld
- Position will require use of problem solving and decision making.
- PLC set up and lat-logic programming a plus
- Heavy mobile Equipment maintenance a plus
- Experience with process control is a plus
- Electrical maintenance experience
- Demonstrated ability with principles of maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Ability to understand and follow operating manuals.
- Ability to troubleshoot with the use of reliability based techniques and equipment
- Thorough knowledge of process equipment.
- Presentation skills also necessary.
