Position Overview Supervisor of Production plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities in assigned work center to achieve established management goals.

Understands the Transfer procedure in the Union contract. Manages work within area of responsibility to minimize bid/bump situations
Understands the Overtime provision of the Union contract and properly canvasses and documents activities
Maintains good employee relations through counseling and proper application of employee relation policies
Supervision of shifts or multiple departments to maintain production schedules with quality product and on time delivery.

Minimum 5 years production experience
Knowledge of EEOC, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations
Some knowledge or experience in one or all the following: manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, battery or electrical knowledge, SPC training, problem solving

2-year degree or equivalent
Bilingual in Spanish
