About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our clinical team in New York City.
  • This role is focused on delivering high-quality, independent echocardiographic assessments as part of Neko's preventive health offering.
  • This is a full-time role that will require rotating between our NYC clinics.

Responsibilities

  • What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12
  • Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic examinations in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines and Neko clinical protocols.
  • Follow Neko's escalation protocols consistently and document findings in the clinical record accurately.
  • Basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment to support a high quality and frictionless member experience
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of echo protocols as the US clinical model develops.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret a full range of TTE studies, including Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS), required
  • Experience with 3D echocardiographic imaging.
  • Experience in a high-volume or technology-forward clinical setting.

  • Role Purpose:
  • You will perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), including Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) evaluations in line with Neko's clinical protocols, and produce accurate, same-session reports - working autonomously within defined escalation protocols.
  • You will work closely with the NYC Medical Area Lead, our consulting cardiologists and the broader clinical team to ensure echocardiographic findings are integrated into each member's full health picture.
  • What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 Months:
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
