- Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa has an opening for a full-time Staff Assistant I.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day administrative operations, provide clerical support, and perform general office duties, such as answering office phones, copying, faxing, printing, and directing visitor traffic in the office.
- Perform other duties as they arise, including assisting other faculty and staff in the above areas when they are not otherwise available.
- Maintain the Graduate Business Programs Office departmental email account. Respond to inquiries and/or forward to appropriate staff members.
- Monitor all office supplies, copier refill needs, and coordinate with office vendors to maintain office equipment (e.g. printer cartridges for master copy machine, maintenance issues, etc.)
- This position will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Graduate Business Programs office.
Requirements
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and customer service skills required.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and Adobe Creative suite.
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office.

- Some Saturdays are required (8 per semester) Monday-Friday schedule is adjusted during these weeks.

Nice to have
- High school diploma required, two years of college is preferred.
- Prior administrative office experience preferred.
