About the role
- The challenge ahead is to translate that impact into sustained philanthropic investment that fuels BBYO's growth and shapes the future of Jewish communal life.
- This is not a traditional development role.
- BBYO currently operates an annual campaign of $25 million with a Centennial Campaign that seeks to increase endowment commitments to $100 million over the next three years.
Requirements
- 15+ years of fundraising, ideally in a nonprofit environment
- Working closely with Community Impact team (BBYO's teen facing professionals) to gain knowledge of ongoing BBYO activities in local communities.
- 7+ years of management experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success leading sophisticated fundraising programs and securing significant philanthropic investments.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire support from a wide range of audiences.
- Familiarity with modern CRM systems, fundraising analytics, donor prospecting tools, and emerging technologies that support philanthropic engagement.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- advanced degree and/or relevant fundraising certifications preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.</
