Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering, requirements, and design artifacts.
- Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature systems architecture content for large program designs.
- Conduct pre-review assessments to ensure readiness prior to formal design review.
- The selected Systems Engineer - Level 2 or 3 responsibilities will include the support of the BOA program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering team.
- This role is responsible for developing systems engineering products that directly support the design and development of BOA software development capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, and/or Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge of MBSE and the use of SysML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system
- Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.
Nice to have
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar agile workflow environments.
- Experience collaborating with engineering disciplines and stakeholders across IPTs.
- Experience working with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
- Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation
- $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
- $114,000.00 - $171,000.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
