About the role

Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering, requirements, and design artifacts.
Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature systems architecture content for large program designs.
Conduct pre-review assessments to ensure readiness prior to formal design review.
The selected Systems Engineer - Level 2 or 3 responsibilities will include the support of the BOA program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering team.
This role is responsible for developing systems engineering products that directly support the design and development of BOA software development capabilities.

Experience with DOORS, CAMEO, and/or Model Based Systems Engineering.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge of MBSE and the use of SysML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system
Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence)
Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds.
Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.

Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar agile workflow environments.
Experience collaborating with engineering disciplines and stakeholders across IPTs.
Experience working with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

$114,000.00 - $171,000.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
