About the role
- Quantum Space is redefining mobility and maneuverability in space.
- Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, security, and corporate teams, you will play a key role in supporting secure collaboration, regulatory compliance, and technology innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Join us in building the next generation of spacecraft.
- Ownership - Manage and secure the enterprise infrastructure that enables spacecraft development and mission operations
- Innovation - Support advanced IT and cybersecurity technologies powering next-generation aerospace programs
- Impact - Help protect and maintain the mission-critical systems supporting national security, civil, and commercial space missions
- Monitor and maintain network and systems performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Manage virtual networking and infrastructure hosted within Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, storage platforms, virtualization environments, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions
- Manage enterprise endpoint deployment, system configuration, software distribution, patch management, and lifecycle maintenance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls aligned with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ITAR, and industry best practices
- Monitor security events, investigate incidents, coordinate remediation activities, and support vulnerability management initiatives
Requirements
- To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VPN technologies, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and enterprise networking principles
Compensation
- $125,000 - $155,000
- The salary range for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including work experience, education, technical expertise, certifications, critical skills, and business needs.
- Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are considered part of Quantum Space's total compensation package.
