About the role
- FTS - is a leading provider of commercial security systems with our primary business focus in North Texas.
- We specialize in providing a personal touch and quality that many of our national competitors cannot replicate while being able to adjust to varying market conditions with the agility of a small company.
- The Service Technician position will be tasked to repair and program Access Control, IP based CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
Requirements
- Computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Strong customer communication skills including the ability to defuse customer anxiety and or conflicts.
- A proven track record of similar success.
- Must have strong customer service skills and be able to apply tact, diplomacy, reason and logic to challenging situations.
- Must be a self-starter and can manage responsibilities without daily direction.
Nice to have
- College or Trade School Degree Preferred, must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 7-years of experience installing security and fire alarm systems for commercial businesses.
- Proficient computer skills for customer communication, project planning and system programming.
- Experience with Software House, Honeywell ProWatch, Galaxy Controls, and Continental Access Control Systems, Avigilon IP based CCTV and Bosch and Ademco Intrusion Systems preferred.
Compensation
- Pay range of $34+ per hour, negotiable based on experience
