Requirements
- You are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes.
- You have balanced the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience and judgment, along with the appropriate risk mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
Nice to have
- The investigation, evaluation and disposition of new and existing Directors & Officers Liability claims including possibly Employment Practices Liability and Fiduciary Liability claims.
- Preparation and execution of investigation strategies which identify critical issues effecting liability, causation and damages and assessment of risk transfer and contribution opportunities.
- Proper documentation of exposure evaluation and resolution strategy.
- Frequently present to senior management of claim disposition recommendations.
- Obtain the appropriate authority to independently negotiate multi-million dollar claims with the top plaintiff attorneys nationwide.
- Utilize ADR as appropriate and necessary.
- Effectively strategize and budget litigation of each claim through discussions with counsel, vendors and insureds.
- 10+ years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or other related experience
Compensation
- For roles based in New York, the base salary range is $118,000-$178,000 Your actual compensation will be dependent on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
