About the role

Responsibilities
- Internal System Development: 1) establish processes to ensure that we never run out of material and are ready to execute on new sales orders 2) minimize material waste and expiration 3) understand material ETAs and properly evaluate suppliers' on time delivery 4) establish project cost tracking 5) implement budgeting and purchase approval requests
Requirements
- Understand all contract terms and apply creativity and sound business reasoning to adjust contracts as required.
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management.
- Experience in startups or small teams in fast-paced and quickly changing environments.
Nice to have
- Identify areas of need or risk, and establish relationships with new suppliers.
- Familiar with finance and accounting methods of cost classification.
- Familiar with ITAR regulation or experience in a workplace where ITAR policies are implemented.
- Familiar with AS9100 processes, in the context of supplier evaluation and direct / indirect material classification.
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
- Remarkable problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- $120k-$170k
