- Assist in tracking Child Life programs and activities encouraging normalization and socialization while interpreting routine policies and procedures regarding play spaces and other information requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to the child life/creative arts team around routine day-to-day tasks and activities within area.
- Manages own time well to plan work and meet daily task needs.
- Promptly inquires, documents, and addresses patient needs by listening actively and asking clarifying questions as appropriate.
- Consults with manager to get input, guidance and support with patient care as appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law:

Nice to have
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree in Child Development preferred.

Compensation
- In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St.
- Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
- This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
- A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $21.00 - $35.50 per hour for the role of Patient Activity Assistant.
