In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.

Enterprise Reporting: Use your local and national sports contacts to break stories, develop fresh feature angles, and actively contribute to daily sports department planning.
Digital Strategy: Write compelling text copy for our digital platforms and optimize sports content for our website and social media channels.
Deadline Agility: The ability to prioritize tasks and maintain absolute accuracy under the intense time constraints of live sports television.
This role is for a true multimedia specialist who can line-produce a polished studio show, drop everything to cover a breaking local sports story, shoot game highlights, and deliver unscripted live-stream content from the field.

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must have (or be able to quickly obtain) a valid passport for international travel.

Two (2) years of experience producing or reporting sports for a commercial television station or regional sports network (RSN) is preferred.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with commercial drone flight operations (FAA Part 107) is a strong plus.

Exceptional sports writing skills with a mastery of conversational copy, immaculate grammar, and a deep understanding of show pacing.

Education & Experience
