Analyze electrical data from devices and arrays to understand behavior, performance tradeoffs, and failure mechanisms. Translate findings into actionable feedback for process, materials, and design teams.
Develop and enhance characterization methodologies and wafer-level test techniques for emerging memory technologies.
Partner with design, process, and product teams to develop characterization strategies and drive device performance, reliability, and yield improvements.
Collaborate with test development teams to bring up and validate test programs and new characterization vehicles.
Self-driven, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced development environment.

PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with strong hands-on experience in device testing and characterization.
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, reliability, and failure mechanisms.
Experience in the electrical characterization of non-volatile memory technologies such as SOM, PCRAM, MRAM, or ReRAM.
Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable reports for cross-functional audiences.

Track record of adopting AI tools to streamline technical work.
Strong scripting and test development skills, with proficiency in Python and data analysis platforms such as JMP or similar.
Hands-on knowledge of lab test equipment, automated probers, and ATE memory testers.
Methodical and organized approach, with experience creating well-structured technical reports and documentation.

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.
This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.

Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan.
RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
