About the role
- They serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
- This includes the processing of patient records and ongoing communication with nursing staff, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.
- The HUC NA serves as a resource for physicians and other members of the health care team for the electronic medical record.
Responsibilities
- The HUC NA supports patients with activities of daily living and performs patient care skills as delegated by the licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
- The HUC NA also collaborates with unit leadership in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the patient care unit.
- The HUC NA also supports department operational needs, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certification in CPR/BLS Must have one of the following:
