About the role

  • They serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.

  • The HUC NA serves as a resource for physicians and other members of the health care team for the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

  • The HUC NA supports patients with activities of daily living and performs patient care skills as delegated by the licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
  • The HUC NA also collaborates with unit leadership in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the patient care unit.
  • The HUC NA also supports department operational needs, and performs other duties as assigned.
