About the role

The Project Manager will oversee the execution and management of construction projects, ensuring that budgets are managed, safety standards are met, and all project activities are efficiently executed.
Additional certifications such as PMP or BCIN is an asset.

Budget Control: Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting and accountability.
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Conduct team meetings and maintain collaboration.
Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain compliance and a safe work environment.
Client Communication: Build and maintain strong client relationships with timely updates and issue resolution.
Risk Mitigation: Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Conduct team meetings and maintain collaboration.
This is a new headcount added to support our growing business needs.
Our organization may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) or algorithm-assisted systems, to support the initial review of applications.
Monitor and manage project budgets with accurate cost reporting and accountability.

Possess 5-7 years of experience managing construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and invoicing within the commercial sector.
In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
Experience in construction management with proficiency in Procore and MS Project, and ability to lead diverse teams.
Secure required permits and ensure alignment with building codes and regulations.

Post-secondary education in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications such as PMP or BCIN is an asset.
Solid understanding of construction financials and cost management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Use tools like Procore to track and log project data, including reports, RFIs, and approvals.
