About the role
- Work Shift: The EVS Tech engages in maintaining clean, sanitary and orderly conditions in the hospital.
- Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings, floors and equipment with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease.
- Also gathers and disposes of infectious wastes and trash.

- Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: None.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Works with standard housekeeping equipment and supplies such as vacuums cleaners, brooms and small stripper machines.

- Education & Training: High School graduate or GED equivalent
