About the role

  • The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the operation.
  • This individual will oversee all aspects of safety, quality, customer service, inventory management, labor planning, financial performance, and employee development while ensuring the facility consistently meets operational and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for daily warehouse, logistics, and production support operations
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure service commitments are achieved
  • Drive safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy throughout the operation
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, labor plans, and operational forecasts
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and management staff
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction
  • Manage audits, inventory control processes, and operational compliance activities
  • Maintain accountability for facility financial performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of WMS platforms, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office

Nice to have

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and OSHA regulations
  • Oversee staffing, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning efforts
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain operations
  • Previous experience managing large teams in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow processes
  • Experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational KPIs
