About the role
- Provides quality service through a team oriented, collaborative approach to patient care.
- The is an adult inpatient medical-surgical unit with 10 private patient rooms that have excellent views of the Roanoke Valley.
- Comprised of Registered Nurses and Nursing Assistants, our nursing team is specially trained at providing care for people living with serious illness.
Responsibilities

- Provides basic nursing care and performs technical skills for specified age groups according to established standards.
- Documents and reports patient observations to licensed staff.
Requirements
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required.
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- If employee is working in a critical access facility, a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: If employee is working in a critical access facility, a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
Compensation
- $17.39 - $24.35 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
